From the website it looks like Chile-Tours is not running the tours per se so I would also check out the companies it is working with, the ones that are mentioned on the home page, because they may be the people who are actually meeting you on the pier.

Check out www.chileabout.com for tours from Santiago to Valparaiso and also reverse. They seem like a nice company and come recommended from the Hotel we booked.:)

We would feel more confident about booking with Chile About for our daytrip/transfer from our Santiago Hotel to the Valparaiso Pier if we could read a few recommendations from fellow cruisers who have used them . I tried to do a search on these boards, but the search would not go through, either for posts or for threads. They go to a winery in the Casablanca Valley. Does anyone on these boards know if the winery they tour is a good winery to visit or if Chile About has a good reputation for showing up and delivering a quality tour? Thanks.
