sail7seas Posted June 28, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2008 I should have asked this sooner but :( didn't. If anyone who is sailing Eurodam's Inaugural is either staying or visiting in an "SA" Suite.......would you post some photos? I'm eager to see the new decorating for cabins. I expect the layout will be the same as Vistas but really want to see the more modern colors/decorating. Thanks if you can do that for us.
bepsf Posted June 28, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2008 S7S-- I'll do my best to get pix of as many categories of stateroom as I can get my little busybody self into. :) I even brought along a measuring tape so I could get the exact size of those crescent VT balconies. ;)
Cruzman Posted June 28, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 28, 2008 I'd love to see some pics of those SC aft balconies too!

mamaofami Posted June 28, 2008 #5 Share Posted June 28, 2008 And, don't forget the regular aft VA cabins too. 5192, right near you. .:D

sail7seas Posted June 29, 2008 Author #7 Share Posted June 29, 2008 THANK YOU, BRIAN..... :) I'm really eager to see the decorating in the "SA's".
sail7seas Posted June 29, 2008 Author #8 Share Posted June 29, 2008 I just viewed all of Delles' photos...... Wonderful and there were 4 or 5 of the "S" Suite. I like the change in decorating. They changed from the low glass table to a rectangle one that looks more like the one Statendam had when she came out. Looks as though it might be one that can be raised and lowered. Suite looks wonderful but couldn't tell if they (hopefully) added back some drawers which they eliminated in the Vista ships. The bureau in the "S" suites on other than Vista ships have 12 drawers. Vista ships 3 and a not so useful cabinet.
Krazy Kruizers Posted June 29, 2008 #9 Share Posted June 29, 2008 One thing I noticed, all the verandah furniture and the furniture around the pools are all dark colors.
Krazy Kruizers Posted June 29, 2008 #10 Share Posted June 29, 2008 One thing I noticed in the suite bathroom -- back to shelves:
Krazy Kruizers Posted June 29, 2008 #11 Share Posted June 29, 2008 Can't tell if they added drawers or not: I tried to blow up the picture.
Krazy Kruizers Posted June 29, 2008 #12 Share Posted June 29, 2008 That table does look like the one we had on the Statendam. We loved the idea that it could be raised or lowered.
sail7seas Posted June 29, 2008 Author #13 Share Posted June 29, 2008 Can't be sure as the light is not good at the far right end of the counter but it looks like "possibly" there could be two rows of three drawers. That would be Wonderful!!! Notice there is no return row of drawers like we are used to on the bed wall in suites on all but Vista ships. (...and Prinsendam). I like the look of the decorating in the cabin and the veranda furniture. Looks good....can't wait to sail her in March.
sail7seas Posted June 29, 2008 Author #14 Share Posted June 29, 2008 I just noticed the lamp on the right end of the counter. First we've seen a lamp there. I like seeing so much wood.
Krazy Kruizers Posted June 29, 2008 #15 Share Posted June 29, 2008 You are right - that is the first we have ever had a lamp at the end of the counter. I wonder if the lights right (almost) behind the pillows are still there?
sail7seas Posted June 29, 2008 Author #16 Share Posted June 29, 2008 If you look at the phone, just above the telephone is a curved article that looks like it might be a reading light. Possibly it is flexible and can be positioned???
sail7seas Posted June 29, 2008 Author #17 Share Posted June 29, 2008 I've been staring at the photo and to the right of the chair at the counter, I think there are drawers! I sure hope so.

Krazy Kruizers Posted June 29, 2008 #19 Share Posted June 29, 2008 I would like the flexable lamp.
Krazy Kruizers Posted June 29, 2008 #20 Share Posted June 29, 2008 This is the other photo of the suite by the beds. Still too dark to tell anything:
sail7seas Posted June 29, 2008 Author #21 Share Posted June 29, 2008 Yes, they are reading lamps. There is one on each side of the bed. Nice!
sail7seas Posted June 29, 2008 Author #22 Share Posted June 29, 2008 Wall clock is smaller and there are hooks near it....see the robes hanging in the mirror reflection.
Krazy Kruizers Posted June 29, 2008 #23 Share Posted June 29, 2008 Trust me -- DH doesn't like the robes hanging there -- he always removes them on the other ships. He hates "fighting" them at night.
Wine Taster Posted June 30, 2008 #24 Share Posted June 30, 2008 I have a CPAP Machine that need to be plugged in. I wonder if there is an outlet close to the bed. Does anyone know?
