Suite 1630 on the Independence of the Seas

Does anyone have any experience with balcony suite 1630 on the Independence of the Seas? Is the balcony smaller then other balcony suites in this category given its location on the edge of the hump? See image attached. It looks like the corner of the suite extends into the balcony area a bit.

 

We really like the location of the cabin, just unsure about its balcony size.

Are you sure that it's not a D-1 balcony? I just checked on RCCL's website and it is, in fact a D-1. If it's like some of the others, the balcony on the hump is deeper than a normal D-1.

Freedom and Voyager class balconies don't vary in size because of the hump. You have a D1 cabin (not a suite), but your balcony will be the same size as any other D catagory.

One of our friends, stayed in that exact cabin on the Liberty and I thought it was in a great location. The only down side, assuming my memory is correct, was that it was a connecting room but I could be wrong.
