animal excursions

Does anyone know if there are any good Meddeterrean excursions involving animals?

 

 

My wife and I figured out we love doing stuff with "aminals"

 

We do the dolphins in the Caribbean, sting rays in Georgetown, I've ridden an elephant, and went swimming with a 6' shark (when the tour guides started throwing chum in the water I got a bit freaked...).

 

We're going to Venice and Barcelona next year and I didn't see any of the RC ship tours that included zoos or animals-might just be that this cruise is all about history and palaces and naked David statues and tossing coins in the Trevi fountain but I'd like to see some animals if there's an easy tour to do and I figured if anyone knew it'd be CC folks...

In Barcelona the Aquarium comes to my mind

other than that I have to say that actually yes this cruise is more about the city, history, landscape etc. and not so much about animals.

 

Maybe you want to ask on the ports of call boards.

There is a zoo in Rome in the Borghese Gardens.

Monte Carlo, near Cannes, supposedly also has a beautiful aquarium. We didn't visit it, so I don't know anything about it, but I read good things about it.
