bratgrr1 Posted August 12, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 12, 2008 I did a forum search but didn't come up with a lot on this question. Someone mentioned to me that we could request robes for our stateroom. We are booked in an ocean view so we won't automatically have them, but someone told me if we asked our cabin steward, he/she would most likely bring them. Anyone have any experience with that? Is it appropriate to do so? Thanks!

firefly333 Posted August 12, 2008 #3 Share Posted August 12, 2008 Yes, if they arent already in your cabin, just ask, and they will bring them.
grammacassi Posted August 12, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 12, 2008 On our cruise in May 2007 on the Conquest, we had them in our balcony and our kids had them in their interior cabin. I'd bet you too will have them. If not, I am sure your request will be honored. Grammacassi
Sandgnat Posted August 12, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 12, 2008 They used to not be in the inside rooms but it has been a long time since I have not had one. If your room does not have one ask your steward and they will get one for you. Have a wonderful cruise.
Ehpride Posted August 12, 2008 #6 Share Posted August 12, 2008 They've always been in my inside cabin so if for some reason you don't have them, make sure you ask.
fsugurl Posted August 12, 2008 #7 Share Posted August 12, 2008 We had 2 robes hanging in our closet on The Holiday....HOWEVER THEY WERE HUGE ! I think it's one size fits all but it was GIGANTIC !! We were sailing in the Eastern Carribean and it was HOT under the robe too !! ;)
bratgrr1 Posted August 13, 2008 Author #8 Share Posted August 13, 2008 I just thought about this...:o my last cruise was not on Carnival (RCI) so maybe that's why I was thinking we didn't have robes, because we didn't. I guess I'll find out in 4 days!
LemurCat Posted August 13, 2008 #9 Share Posted August 13, 2008 We didn't have them in our interior on NCL on the Gem this winter. I believe we did have them on our last Carnival interior last winter.
Beej29 Posted August 13, 2008 #10 Share Posted August 13, 2008 We had them both years on Carnival Victory in a balcony room. My parents had an oceanview when they went with us and had the robes as well. No robes on NCL balcony (and we paid a lot more for that trip). I used my robe quite a bit and it was one less to pack.
