Australia Cruisetours

Recommended Posts

We are planning a trip to Australia next year and are looking a various cruises that combine with a "cruisetour". Has anyone done this? We know we need to combine a cruise with a land tour, but wondered if the cruisetours offered pre or post cruise are a good value as opposed to arranging something on our own. Considering the amount of travel involved along with overnight stays, etc. we wondered if it would be less expensive than trying to do it ourselves.

Just a suggestion. When you are considering a cruisetour, please check the weather conditions at your time of travel. Depending when you plan to travel, you may wish to book a longer period at a favourite place, rather than travel to a number of places, at the wrong time of year.

We always do it ourselves. It gives us more flexibility and its less confining and less expensive.

You might check out the Qantas Aussie Airpass program as you can save a fair chunk of change on your air travel unless you are planning to use miles.
