Cabin Mates checking in at diffrent times?

We are four people arriving to ship possibly at separate times. Celebrity out of Ballentine Pier in Vancouver, BC. Does anyone know if you are allowed to check in without your cabin mate or have to arrive and check in at the same time. A couple of us are going straight from work so will be arriving later but two of us can arrive early. Just need to know if the two of us (in different cabins) can check in earlier and our room mates arrive later or we should arrange to arrive at the same time.

Would be great if anyone knows this.

Cheers!

It is my understanding that you must all check in at the same time if you are in the same cabin. All of the keys are already made and the computer system doesnt know any different if 1, 2, or all of the people have checked in, just that the cabin has checked in.

Sorry if that puts a crimp in your plans.

It is no problem to check in at different times. Every person is checked in seperately and their on board account set up based on their form of payment. I used to work for Celebrity at check in at the Baltimore port and we checked in guests individually all the time. Go and get on the ship as early as you can, that makes the fun start even earlier. Have a great cruise. We just got back from Alaska and it was the best trip of our lives. Cindy

Each card has the individual pax name! As each one comes in, as the post above says, they will give the appropriate card

Yes - we have checked in separately . We were flying from different

cities to begin our cruise. You each need to set up your own

account anyway and will each have keys to the cabin. It's very easy

and those that can board early can enjoy the ship while waiting for

the rest to board. In fact, my friends luggage arrived in the cabin

an hour or so before he did. So I hoped that meant he had made

the flight okay. Turns out he arrived much earlier and the cruise

line took everyone at the airport to a nearby hotel since it was too

early to board the ship. Obviously the baggage came on early.

Have a great cruise !
