Smoking on Mariner of the Seas

Recommended Posts

Is there a good place to find out where smoking is allowed on Mariner of the Seas? We have smokers (and first-time cruisers) in our party, and I want to be sure they know ahead of time so that they do not smoke in the wrong areas. I saw the post regarding casinos, but had difficulty locating a thread regarding this. Thanks!

One side--usually starboard--of the outside decks is smoking. You will know, because there will be ashtrays. If there are none, don't smoke there!

Same on the inside areas (lounges, bars, casino)-- if there are no ashtrays, it's NO SMOKING!

There is currently no smoking in any cabin, but you may smoke on your balcony. Ask the room attendant for ashtrays--never throw anything, even a butt, off the ship!

Thanks! I really appreciate it. It's never really been an issue for me before, and I want everyone in our group to know before they even get on the ship.

On most RCL ship including the Mariner there is a cigar lounge with big screen tv's comfy couches and club chairs and cigar for purchase or bring your own. There:) is also at night an attendant who will also take drink orders and cigar purchases.

We were on the Mariner last April at that time there was no smoking in the Schooner bar but you could smoke in the Boleros bar, both are on deck 4. In the casino there was no smoking on formal night other than that you could smoke. You could also smoke in the Jazz club on deck 13, the starboard side of the pool deck & pool bar, no smoking at the sky bar.
