oakleys Posted September 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2008 If i search through the cabin's on carnivals site, if they dont show the cabin # you want, is that cabin already gone? Or do you have to call, maybe they just show like 5 results thank's
AZ Karaoke Girl Posted September 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2008 I think what you are asking is when you try to book online they only offer a few cabins to choose from. There is a box to type in your cabin number and it will tell you if its still available or not.
EBallgrl Posted September 17, 2008 #3 Share Posted September 17, 2008 do you mean if they do not show that cabin you want as available? If so do the same thing you are doing on Carnival's website with some other travel websites and see if they show up as available on them. Or you could simply call Carnival and ask! ;)

G'ma Posted September 17, 2008 #7 Share Posted September 17, 2008 When you reach the page showing availability, there is a box at the left bottom which asks you to type in a particular cabin number...... If it doesn't come up, it's sold. You could try calling Carnival just in case but they'll probably advise it's gone too.
Ken076 Posted September 17, 2008 #8 Share Posted September 17, 2008 The booking display shows a list of up to 10 available cabins in that Category - my guess is that these are the 10 "least desirable" cabins available; the TA/PVP can see ALL the available cabins. The web page also provides the option to enter a specific cabin ### and will indicate if it's available or not. ken
Sirwinston Posted September 17, 2008 #9 Share Posted September 17, 2008 Since I have been able to book my first choice on line Perhaps it automatically shows what they think are the best. But like you said, one can call and ask.. Tom in Long Beach
NCTribeFan Posted September 17, 2008 #10 Share Posted September 17, 2008 Well, since they changed the website, I no longer see the empty box where you can type in the cabin you want. I only get a drop-down box. You cannot type in a cabin number there.
oakleys Posted September 17, 2008 Author #11 Share Posted September 17, 2008 yes i cant find that box, went all over but no go, just the drop down. thanks all.
zqvol Posted September 17, 2008 #12 Share Posted September 17, 2008 yes i cant find that box, went all over but no go, just the drop down. thanks all. After you pick a price, the next page shows cabin location. The second radio button down allows you to request a specific cabin. Type the desired cabin there and if it is available you will get it. If it doesn't appear then it is not available from Carnival.
NCTribeFan Posted September 17, 2008 #13 Share Posted September 17, 2008 Right. But that's not the same. It used to be an empty box and you typed it in. If it was available, the reservation would continue. If it wasn't, it told you to select another cabin. There was still a list of a half-dozen or so cabins, but you could at least check to see if the cabin you wanted was available. You no longer have that option. Now, you have to call. Just because a cabin isn't on the list doesn't mean it isn't necessary. They just don't list every single cabin that's still available in that class.
