UBD --romantic

The best of the Crown defiantely outnumber the worst.

disorganized buffet lines

Hope you enjoy the ship just as much as we did! Enjoy!!

Linda, I too am sailing 10/19 on the Crown - don't know whether you've kept up with the roll call for our sailing, but an interesting note is that well known psychic Sylvia Browne will be on board (not really a Crown thing but interesting nevertheless). nancy

Best: International Cafe, and the souffle desserts

Worst: The elevators. We usually just took the stairs. Also, the refusal to show the local weather forecast on the Bridge Reports. Not good for those with inside cabins. Probably not such a big deal in the Caribbean, but it was a real pain in the Baltics. The worst was our day in Tallinn - they announced the forecast as cloudy, with periods of sun. Actually, it was very windy and poured rain. Many people didn't take the proper raingear - umbrellas were not enough to keep us dry that day.

To get to the bridge wings, go all the way forward in either passenger corridor on (I think?!?) Riviera deck. Exit through the forward doors and go up the 3 or 4 steps and you'll be there. It might be Lido....does someone remember?

It is the Lido deck. Most people never go up there because there are cabins there. Just keep going past the cabins.

i would love to take pictures from there ....... how do you get up there ........

oh, also, this is our 2nd time on the crown this year ...... really, there is NOTHING bad - only gooooooood - you're gonna have a great time!!

It is definitely the Lido deck. We always book a cabin on this deck. Go all the way forward, on either side. You will see a door leading to another door that goes outside to a few steps that takes you on the deck above the bridge. Great views for sailaway. However, this deck is closed when in open waters. It's way too windy and can be dangerous. That's where you'll find us on sailaway.
