Shopping adviser

I posted a few months ago about our problems with Diamonds International. Cunard have now informed us that Gail the shopping adviser on the QM2 is actually employed by Diamonds International and not Cunard and that Cunard do not receive a penny from them.

News to me.

Interesting, I have always wondered where and by whom these people are employed. I once asked a "port shopping advisor " where I could find a fabric store as I wanted to purchase some dress lengths. I was told none to politely that "I dont know" of course the same person knew where to send passengers for jewelley!
