c-leg5 Posted October 1, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 1, 2008 Has anyone visited Graycliff while in Nassau? Can you still do a cigar factory tour and does anyone know the cost? We would like to do the walking tour of Nassau and wondered if we could go in Graycliff and look around the grounds. Thanks.

It's not very well marked and I actually walked past it a bit before I realized where it was. It was quiet inside. I don't think there were any tours, but they allowed me to look around. Someone there allowed me to look around the cigar rolling room and then took me into their humidor and let me pick out a couple of cigars. The cigars are good, but expensive. I emailed the company and they gave me the opening hours and said i was welcome to watch the rolling. They didn't say there was an admission cost so I presume they just expect to make some sales! I was hoping to look round the grounds too so I guess I'll find out when we get there!

There was no charge and I didn't feel pressured to buy anything, but I did spend about $50 on a couple of cigars. I didn't ask to look around the grounds, but the host did show me around the building we were in and the cuban art was impressive.
