My turn to ask... Does anyone know if there is a wine or liquor store close to the port in Tampa. I would like to buy some wine and pepsi products before boarding the ship.

I agree that Total Wine and Spirits is the place, but where are you staying? It is not close to the pier, if you define "close" as being within a mile.

There is a wine shop at Channelside (where the Carnival ships sail from, next to the Aquarium) called Wine Design. There is also a Publix across the river from the convention center that has a good wine select.
