I'm going on Glory 11/13 and was wondering if the supper club is worth the xtra $$. And speakin of that how much xtra is it? is there 15% on top of the fee? I'm not a steak eater but love seafood.

thanks all!

All I can say is that we were on the Glory about 3 weeks ago and went to the supper club twice - it was that good. Everyone should try it at least once. The price is reasonable for what you get and the service is the best.

Anyone know if you can order more than one thing off of the menu, like you can in the regular dinning room?

I am a picky eater and sometimes not so sure I will like something, so the regular dinning room is great to try many different things at a time.

I don't see why not. The service there is excellent and they will pretty much do anything you ask, within reason.

And yes, the supper club was definately worth it. We reserved one night, but immediately after our meal, reserved it for another night!! WONDERFUL!! We were on the Pride.

Share with me some of your favorite menu items, so I can try them when I go?
The Carpacio was excellent. I've never had that before and always wanted to try it. We got this on our second night, when I realized the excellent quality of the food, I wasn't afraid to try something like raw beef. If you've never had sushi there is also a sushi appetizer. Duck is another unique entree, but we didn't have that. The menu is different on different ships though, I think. If you'd like to try something new, this is definately the place to do it as the quality of everything was so good.

Only one entre is allowed unles you want to pay more.

You can have as many veg items as you like.

The crab cakes are excellent as well as the onion soup and spinach sald.

The fillet mignon was so tender.

They give you 3 kinds of butter!

Also the chef sends out little "surprises" all throughout the meal.

It's def worth it!

Well the reviews sound great. I think we will try it out. Has anyone tried it while on the Glory and Eastern Route. I ask to find out which night is best to go.

Also are we talking its like a Zagat rated menu (something like Le Cirque or Spago) or more like a steak house.

Seafood menu items that anyone has had? Is it creative?

THANKS ALL!

DH and I and my brother and his wife ate at the supper club on the Glory, eastern route. I had the Alaskan king crab legs. This was the first time I had them, so I can't compare them to anything else. They were good, though. DH had the filet mignon. Yummy! I would highly recommend this restaurant. We made reservations the day we boarded the ship. There was a table in the lobby. We dined on a non-formal night and non-port night. I can't remember which night it was.

We did the Supper Club on Spirit to Alaska this past summer. We found the food and service as good or better than any 5 star restaurant on land that we had ever been to. I would certainly try it, at least, once and decide for yourself. The $25( or $50 if a couple) is very minimal considering that you can blow that much in just a few minutes(seconds) in the Casino!!

I dont recall choc fondue but I am waiting to try the Trio of Mousse. I am losing 3 pounds before I go JUST to try that alone.

You may be thinking of the Gala Buffet. Every imaginable kind of choc available. Choc Fondue may be there (and that is free)
