Fridge Question

Hi,

Just had a thought whilst reading a few hints and tips etc.

Have Question about the Fridges on the Pacific Dawn.

Do the have a small freezer in them??

If so is it big enough to put 2 small bottles of water in it to freeze for the next day etc, that way will be able to keep drinks colder in Backpack etc for port days. :)

Hi Cruzer Nut

From memory the fridge doesn't have a freezer but you can get plenty of ice from the water dispensers on the Lido Deck & in the buffet area. Take a sports water bottle with a wide opening (like ones used at the gym etc) as the ice cubes are quite big & won't fit into bottles with small openings (i.e. Mt Franklin or kids water bottles).

No Freezers, but the fridge does keep water, etc nice and cold, and you can fit big bottles in them. We brought a couple of big (1litre) bottles of water in Suva, and kept them in the fridge to top up smaller bottles to take ashore with us at other ports, and for water in the cabin of course.

No, fridges on Pacific Dawn dont have freezer. When we went on the fridge was ok but really didnt keep anything cold, we guessed that was so people didnt hide their own drinks in room. We had coke etc... to go with smuggled drinks,,if you know what I mean and wasnt very nice at all as fridge didnt keep coke cold at all.

Thanks Guys,

Will hope that Fridge is Ultra Cold then, don't know if it was just our Cruise or if it's always like that. But when the Ice melted in your Cup it tasted HORRID  hence the question, would rather freeze a whole bottle and let it melt throughout the day etc.

Will have to think of something - may have to bring along a cold sleeve to put water into etc.

But Hey! having a fridge this time is a bonus. :)
