Recharging an IPOD on Emerald ?

You can re-charge any electronice device, whether it's a camera or iPod, using your cabin's outlets as long as you have the right voltage. The iPod is dual-voltage so all you need to do is make sure you have the correct converter if you are not from the U.S.

However, there are no USB ports to plug your iPod into nor is there a docking station in any cabin if that's what you're asking. You will need the Apple charger.

The usb charger looks like this.

It's 110 V & will charge any usb device providing you have the cable with you.

I'm pretty sure they're not using this any more. Here's a link to the new USB charger, which is smaller than the old one:

Oh, I know that the original Apple charger doesn't look like that for sure but mine only costs less than $6 vs apples price of $29.

It's only a simple transformer & does the job just fine.

I've got a real problem with paying Apple's asking prices.

I have something called a "Power Monkey", which you charge from the main electric outlet and which then has various tips included to charge mobile phones, iPods and other devices. It's brilliant! No need to bring loads of charging cables with you.

The Power Monkey sounds like a good thing to have - do you have a link for purchasing?
