Serenade of the Seas Aft Balcony?

All the deck 7 aft balcony cabins are available for a cruise to Alaska on the Serenade of the Seas. Are any of them better or worse than the others?

Take the portside corner cabin - I think it's 7168, but I'm not sure. The balcony is even larger than the others, and you get the added bonus of a view to port as well as straight aft.

We are going on this ship in September to Alaska and waitlist for an aft. We were told not to take it on deck 7 because the Congo lounge is right below. Good luck.

Friends of ours were in 7172 (;)) for 15 nights and never heard any noise from the lounge. It shuts down by midnight, anyway, often earlier.

I've been in a deck 7 aft and never heard a thing. Go for it!

There is a little noise early from around 7-10pm during the Karoke Night activities. We had 7676 and the little noise we heard from the Lounge was outweighed by the benifits of the view.

We were on a corner aft on the Serenade last September and it was wonderful. However, it was kind of chilly, so we weren't on it much, but really glad to have it when we got to the Hubbard Glacier so we could take unobstructed pics. I think it was cabin 8168 - FABULOUS!

 

Can't wait to go back to Alaska one day.
