Kids books in Library

Are there kids books in the Library to read as bedtime stories to borrow for the night?

I have never seen childrens' books in the library. Maybe they have some at Adventure Ocean that you could borrow.

I thought about that too, borrowing from the Adventure ocean but not sure if they would allow that unless they have a tracking system like signing books out. I guess I will just have to find out. I don't feel like packing a bunch of books.

The Indy has a bunch of children's books, we took several out every night. AO also has books, I am not sure if you can sign them out.

Actually, Royal Caribbean has recently added a children's section in each library on each ship.

We just got off the Liberty and they do have 2 rows of books dedicated to children and young adults. A fairly good selection; we went through 3 of them during the cruise:) I believe they also have some in spanish too!

They are there, but you can't count on them being available. After all, there are thousands of other passengers on board, and not all of them "learned to share". ;) :rolleyes:

 

If this is a major need for your child(ren), I suggest that you bring one or two favorites from home.

Sailed on the Serenade Oct 3 2008 and there were no children's books in the library. We had brought our own, although the cabin steward brought us 2 books. My girls were exstatic about that!

 

Didn't think to check some from AO, so I can't answer for that.

We've borrowed children's library books on both the Mariner and the Explorer. We've also borrowed books from AO. I'm guessing it depends on the staff there, as we were just told to bring them back before the end of the cruise.
