back to back cruise what happens to us on the day we dont disembark

You will receive a letter in your cabin the last night of the 1st week, telling you where to meet on Saturday ( usually a lounge).

You can go to breakfast, the time is usually around 10am to meet. Depending what ship you are on, you may or may not have to get off. The entire group doing back to backs will do it together.

If you have to get off , it is a matter of walking with a crew member( no luggage, that stays in your cabin), off the ship and back on, approx 10 mins time.

If you don't have to get off, you will be issued NEW seapass cards and are free to raom the ship all day or go off the ship! Sometimes you get off the ship to have your new pic taken and attached on your seapass card.

If you don't get off the ship on Saturday, you can have your pic taken when you get off at your 1st port on the second week!

Just sit back and watch all the sad faces while you can stay on and smile for another week!:)

We are on a back to back cruise in jan so the middle saturday we do not disembark.

Do we still get breakfast, and then if want go to the pool, or go sight seeing for the day?

Yes you can do all of those things, but as indicated by the previous poster, there are some procedural things you'll have to complete. The exact steps will vary by ship. Just complete those first and then enjoy your day.

Agree with all the above. On the Nav in Barcelona in May we just got our new cards the night before...and that was it!! Just one point; your cruises will be treated seperately for seapass accounts. This means that you must check your account for the first cruise on the last night in the usual way before either a) paying it off in cash or b) allowing RCI to debit your CC. If you leave to the end of the 2nd cruise and anything is overcharged etc it will be too late.

A couple of months ago someone reported that in Miami they didn't even have to disembark. Seems that they cleared immigration in Key West, the last port of the first sailing, so they were just able to stay onboard on the turnaround day. As mentioned, all ports are unique in requirements, but, that was the slickest B2B that I've heard reported.

Okay, sign me up for that one. It sounds so painless. :)

We've done quite a few BtoB's and we found that every ship has a different way of handling it depending on whether you are in a foreign port or an American one. We've done it differently every time. Some more user friendly that others,:( Just follow the instructions you'll be given at the end of the first leg. It's the best feeling in the world to not have to pack up and leave. Enjoy :D

We did a B2B out of San Juan on AOS in July. We had the BEST turnaround day ever! :) We had breakfast then went to Guest Relations to get our new sea pass cards...that was all there was to it! We then spent the morning at the pool and it was wonderful and so relaxing. It was our best B2B experience yet :) Enjoy!

That's right, we did not have to get off the ship...it was wonderful! :). We are in hopes that Port Canaveral will be the same next July.

Our B2B ending in L.A. was even better (after Alaska and Hawaii). We didn't even have to pick up our new cards. They were left in the cabin for us. That turnaround day is THE BEST!!

There was a special luncheon for us B2B people (25 of us) in Portofino's.
