After debarkation in FLL, where can we taxi for nice lunch, then taxi to airport?

Our flight is out of FLL at 3:00 pm. I would like suggestions of where we could taxi from port to spend some time eating lunch or seeing the beach. I just worry about finding a taxi back to the airport. Any idea of taxi fares?

Hi:)there are lots of restaurants along Las Olas Blvd.

Cabs are lined up outside the pier upon your arrival and they

will take you wherever you want to go.;)

Finding a cab to the airport is not a problem.

They are all over....or you could get the phone number

off the outside of the cab and call them to pick you up

from the restaurant.

From Las Olas to the airport will probably cost about

20-25.00 bucks door to door. They are metered.
