Grand Cayman - Ships in Port for November!

Well it looks like things are getting back to normal on Grand Cayman! Hurray!

I was on the Conquest last week and we stopped in GC on Thursday. Island looks pretty sad.

I am glad Grand Cayman is on its way to recovery. However, do not believe it is really ready yet.

I was in Florida last weekend and spoke to several people who had stopped there on the Imagination. They said that most of the stores were open and the water sports are okay, but the rest of the island is still in bad shape. It certainly did not sound as if it is ready for thr 10,000+ cruisers that stop there on a normal day.

They may not be ready for 10,000 passengers at one time, but the two or three ships per day will generate a lot of revenue to help grow the economy.
