Serenade Upgrade Question

Hi Everyone-If I have booked a category D1 deck 9 and my cabin has been assigned is there a possibility we can get an upgrade? Thanks in advance.

Did you choose a specific cabin or book a guarantee? Either way, chances are slim for an upgrade without paying for it although maybe a wee bit better if you booked a guarantee (but not much).

if you booked a guarantee maybe...if you picked a room, maybe but generally not.

 

RC's upgrade fairy isn't always sprinkling her upgrade dust. sometimes people get upgraded, but not always...in 7 cruises we have never been upgraded...(we always pick a cabin)

 

if you want a bigger/better cabin, it's best to just book that outright.

Yes I picked the cabin on deck 9 cat D1. I actually booked a guarantee balcony and wound up on deck 7 aft, and wasn't too pleased with the location, so I paid the extra money and picked a D1 on deck nine cabin 9536, there wasn't too many available forward as all that was available were aft. Hopefully I made the right choice. At least we are closer to the elevators and now we are closer to the pool and solarium.

In that case, I doubt you'll be upgraded. Keep your fingers crossed, tho! You should be quite happy with the location you have now!

D1s are pretty decent cabins in any case. Enjoy your cruise!
