Lye-dough

:o

On RCCL that area was called the Windjammer buffet and I don't recall hearing a deck referred to as the "Lido Deck".

I don't want to get onboard and ask directions to the Lido and mispronounce it. :p

"Foooooooood"

"Yummy yummy in my tummy"

Thanks for saving me from embarrassment... :)

We`ve just boarded the Veendam for 14 days and went to the Lido as directed. While enjoying lunch, our friend Sharon,a veteran of many cruises on HAL,looks through the glass windows towards the pool.

The word Lido is painted on the outside of the glass so she`s looking at the wording sort of backwards, if you can picture it.

In all seriousness she says,"They now call this restaurant the Jibo".

Of course we all laughed until we cried.

For the next 14 days we referred to the Lido as the Jibo.

After booking my first cruise on the Ryndam, I spent six months telling everyone I was going on a cruise on the "Rinn-dam". Imagine my surprise when I was welcomed aboard the "Rine-dam". Oops.
