flight time home from Ft Lauderdale

Hi everyone.

 

Was wondering if it is possible to make an 11:30 flight home at the FLL airport??? What time would we need to be off of the ship?

 

Also, I have heard differing opinions on taxi vs RC shuttle. Taxi is cheaper but I have heard the waiting time for a taxi could be up to 2 hours. If I am going for an 11:30 flight home, is taxi or RC shuttle better?

You should be fine for an 11:30 AM flight.

 

There are lots of taxis at the terminal but sometimes you have to wait for one. I would wait till you are on the ship and talk with them to see what time the first bus will leave. If you are not pleased with the time you can just plan on the taxi.

 

Ask to be in the group of the passengers who disembark the ship first.

with how close the port is to the airport I would think you would have no trouble at all. Our flights from FLL have been a day post cruise but with the disembarkations we have had would have been able to easily make an 11:30 flight either time
