JustStartin Posted January 3, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 3, 2009 Looking for advice on cruiseline for family of 5, DD's are 20, 18 & 15. Depart out of Florida probably, early August. Looking for variety. Not the type to sit at the pool or on the beach all day. As far as price, not the most expensive probably but don't want to try to save money only to find out you also don't get much for what you do pay or what you get is lousy. Rare Keith1010 Posted January 4, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2009 I would consider Royal Caribbean. Keith
serene56 Posted January 4, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 4, 2009 Price out Royal Caribbean and CArnival. Carnival has a H2o club or 15-17 years olds that is a room just for those teens. Im sure Royal has the same. Early August is still Prime season--if you can wait til the end you can really find some bargains. Please be aware that August is prime time hurricane season. Do not book a ship based on seeing certain ports
honeywell Posted January 5, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 5, 2009 RCCL Freedom class ships (Freedom, Liberty and Independence) have Flow Rider surfing simulators, rock climbing walls, mini golf, ice skating, fresh water pools, and the Independence has heated pools. Those would be my top three for your DDs! All sail from Florida.
