Car hire

We will be renting a car from Budget whilst in FL pre cruise. DH stated that we will be returning the car to Miami Airport, on further research, I've found a site nearer the cruise port, does anyone know if the car could be returned there, instead of the Airport? (I have phoned the company we booked with here in the UK, it would involve a cancellation fee and, rebooking at a much higher price than we paid. :eek:

A taxi from MIA will cost about $24 to go to the port after dropping the car....

Why not just call Budget and ask?

Some car hires will provide transportation to the port once you drop off their cars. I know Avis and Hertz does this. You drop the car off at the airport and they have a shuttle to the cruise terminal. You might want to check on that.
