I was on Vision this past November for Mexican Riviera cruise. The ship was in very nice shape - the crew were always cleaning and repainting while in port. The cruise director at the time was fun as well! While the amenities are not the same as the larger ships, I still had a great time. Very relaxing and plenty of space around the boat. No problems finding a place to relax. The food was good, and the service was great!!!!

We were just on the Vision at the end of Nov. Smaller ship (only by comparison) but one of the friendliest staff and crew I have ever encountered. Don't know when you are traveling, but if it is anytime soon, stop at the Viking Crown for a visit with Piero...great bartender and all around nice guy.:D

We're sailing on her in Sept of 09 out of Copenhagen to the Norwegian Fjords.

It's a cruise I've had my eye on for awhile now, and we were finally able to nail down a date.

We are in cabin 7156 - a balcony cabin on the stern of the ship.

Anyone know if these balconies are "regular size" or larger because of their location on the "back end" of the ship???

Thanks!

  • 2 weeks later...

If you're in an aft cabin on deck 8, there's a "secret" stairway just a few doors up the hallway on the starboard side that leads to the spa. If you're not looking for it, you'll miss it. Just take those stairs up and you're right in the Spa/Solarium area. It's a great shortcut!:)

Does anyone have any photos of the Vision?

Cruzin, we had that stateroom on our mexican cruise. The balcony is huge! We had three lounge chairs, 2 regular chairs, and a table. You still could do the tango...

I enjoyed the room and the balcony a lot!
