We (That is 4 of us: My husband René and I and our friends Siem and Betsie, all from Holland) also hope to be on this cruise!

René and I have done the itinerary before, but our friends haven't and for some reason (?) they like to cruise with us. So we decided to do this cruise once more.

A couple of questions if you don't mind:

 

The itinery shows 2 nights suggested formal attire. Is that pretty well adhered to? I hope so. Also how smart are the other nights usually?

 

What are the temperatures likely to be on the trip? How cold/hot can it be?

Hi Mike,

Yes, formal nights are really formal nights (tuxedos and long dresses and all), but if you don't want to dress like that, which you do, you can always dress elegant casual and go to restaurant "2".

Temperatures are very unpredictable as they are in most Northern European countries any time of the year. We just have to be lucky.

I'm pleased about the formal nights. They help make a cruise special for us.

Are jackets the order of the day for men for the other nights or is it usually just a shirt?

Look forward to the email but I guess it's hard to spend money when it's all inclusive;~)

I've done both, pre-booked and booked on board. I have never ran into an issue of tours being "sold out". Sometimes they do get cancelled due to low participation or vendor issues. I'm pretty sure they can put you on a waitlist or provide something alternative. Seabourn's Shore Excursion Specialists are some of the BEST in the industry, in my opinion.

We've now got the tours brochure and note that the tours are not paid for until the on board account is settled so it may be beneficial to book the best tours now online.

 

Does anyone have recommendations for must do tours on this cruise? I've already booked the Flaam railway and spectacular scenery one.

Got the tickets this weekend and confirmed $400 OBC as first timers.

 

Only booked 2 tours, will probably do our own thing for the other stops.

 

Not long now;~)

Been wondering about the last day in Copenhagen. Our flight isn't until 17:35 so have a few hours to explore. Will we be able to leave our bags at the ship and go off and do our own thing?

Hi Mike!

I'm quite sure I already answered your question last night, but my post doesn't show, so I'll try again. It is not always possible due to port authorities to leave your bags on the ship, most likely it will not be possible. You can always ask, but there are no guarantees.

Ooops. So we got bumped from the other post.

 

I think the idea of a party/gettogether in the OW is a great idea. I do owe you for the OBC as well.

Is it difficult to arrange on board?

We had a B3 suite booked on deck 6. I have been in correspondence with Seabourn about them removing the Exclusively Seabourn excursion from the cruise after we booked without telling us or offering compensation for something that had intrinsic value. Also we have cruised regularly with Princess and P & O.

 

Otherwise no idea why we have been treated so well. There are restricted views from the windows and balcony though.:rolleyes:

No. I will be on Regent's Seven Seas Voyager on 26 June out of Copenhagen. We get back to Copenhagen on 10 July so I will be at home in Orpington when you luxuriate in your Owners suite!

 

My son and his wife are on Seabourn Pride on 26 July, presumably the day you disembark.

 

Not long now for all of us.

And unless your son is somehow boarding the Pride mid-cruise he is boarding the day we arrive in Copenhagen, July 30, after our 12 day July 18 cruise.It is so easy to get it iall mixed up!

Rub it in, why don'tcha? Taking it out on a poor old man!

 

On checking up, he leaves the UK on 30 July and embarks Pride on 31 July.

 

But we are all going to have a good time, aren't we?
