Time in ketchikan

I WAS NOTICING ON OUR ITENERARY THAT WE ARE ONLY IN KETCHIKAN FROM 6:30AM TILL 2:00PM. THE EXCURSION THAT WE HAVE RESERVED LASTS UNTIL 10:30. WILL THAT LEAVE ENOUGH TIME TO TAKE IN ALL THE SIGHTS ON CREEK STREET?:confused:

Ketchikan is not a big town. You can walk all over it in about 15 minutes.

Yes, you'll have time. Creek street is only 2 blocks long.

From the ship to Creek Street it is only about 3 blocks. You will have no problem at all. Enjoy. Ketchikan is a great little town.

And look for eagles. We saw more eagles in Ketchikan than any other city.

When the cannery is operating the Eagles are as numerous as Seagulls.

The Southern Alaska Discovery Center, about two blocks form the pier is great for an hour or so. My 8yr old DD loved it this past Sept. We didn't take an excursion in Ketchikan--just walked around the town, tourist areas, back streets, watched the salmon spanning in the creek--wandered Creek Street
