Possible to set up CC luncheon on the Caribbean Princess?

Our role call group has reserved the Outrigger at 1PM on our sea day (1st full day after leaving San Juan). Some of us were also going to meet at 11AM, and try to catch lunch together, understanding the best we can probably do is sit in several groups. Any suggestions on how best to do this on Caribbean Princess? Buffet? Dining room? Which dining room?

Suggest that you go to the dining room and just ask for a bunch of large tables. There will be only one dining room open for lunch.

I believe there is only one dining room open at luch. Just have everyone meet there at whatever time and ask the head waiter to seat you together. No problem and no need to pre-schedule.

We had 2 CC lunches on the Star last spring. Both were in the dining room and scheduled in advance with the head waiter.

Exactly. Check with the head waiter and let him know how many people there'll be. They'll set aside tables away from regular passengers for your group. I've been to several CC lunches in the dining room.

On the Star, Princess sent out invitations and served (free) champagne with lunch.

Organised dinner just the other week on the Sea, went and saw Matrie D

 

he advised the best day, time etc.

 

Selected a pair of tables on a raised area set out by themselves,

 

Made sure everything ran perfectly.

 

We got some extra bits thrown in by the ship.

When we did the NY to San Juan relocation cruise on the CB in October, one of the CC organizers set up a lunch in Sabintines which was enjoyed by the CC group that signed up for it.... I am not sure how they contacted the ship but it did work out well from what I heard
