Just an FYI, considering the recent conversations concerning Princess' previous coupon book offerings...

 

Beginning on voyages starting on or after February 1, 2009, Princess will be offering a new Onboard Value Coupon book with onboard savings up to $325 per book with a maximum of two books per cabin. Here's the skinny....

Some of these offers are actually pretty useful (well, the over-priced is now more reasonable? :p) ... maybe they've listened to us?! :D

If so, anyone who uses internet will be losing out. If so, very generous of Princess.

Good point Cathy, however, not every ship seemed to be doing the extra 30 mins if one signed up on the first day deal. I'll check it out when I'm on the Feb 8th sailing of the Emerald Princess.

$20.00 off port photo package? thats almost a giveaway.

 

what about th 10.00 off for the embarkation photo? How much is it to begin with--wow.

 

I would use a coffee card if it was buy 1 get 1 free-- especially when you read how it can be used for subsequent cruises.

Yeah, I don't have any information on whether the current prices will be going up... sigh. That concerned me too...

These are definitely better in the past. Although, I would imagine they might continue the 30 mins free on the first day of sailing for the internet packages, because these coupon books don't usually show up til the 2nd day, right? I can't remember when we got ours, but it seemed later.

I just checked with my TA - she has not heard of this and thinks nit is probably a specific TA promo thing.

I would be prone to agree. That is the one that is given out during "cruise week" promos....the ones that go along with reduced deposit. I don't think they are changing the pretty worthless ones that everyone gets.

Not much, about $30 give or take.

I don't like it very much, but then I'm not a fan of Heidsieck champagnes in general -- I find them too, well, buttery, for lack of a better word. I like crisper wines.

And yes, it does say that it is a "new Onboard Value Coupon book used in conjunction with Cruise Sales"... it replaces the old $120 book. So, no, apparently not everyone will be receiving this book... sigh. :(
