Bringing Food Onboard

Quick question...

I know the deal with fruits and veggies, but what about canned meats? Specifically, can you bring Spam onboard?

I need it for a mixer. I found an amazing drink recipe that you wouldn't believe unless you tasted it.

SPAM?? In a DRINK??? I don't want to think about that too much....

But.... if its for a drink that you're making yourself, I'm assuming you're smuggling alchohol. If that's the case, just put the spam in with the booze. ;)

Is this a joke?!?!? Really, you want to bring your SPAM on a cruise? Did you know that all the food on the shipis free and you can eat as much of it as you want? I am thinking the joke is in the drink mixer. I am gagging just thinking about it! Maybe I am wrong, and if so please let me know. I have to find out about this drink with spam. BTW, I can't imagine that security would stop you for having Spam in your luggage!

On my last cruise I brought organic smooth peanut butter, bisquick, and tomato paste in the tube and had no problems bringing it on. I brought it to give to a friend on one of the Islands.
