room service is not necessarily quicker...

 

we also use the TV to:

 

  • catch the view from the bridge, especially in the early AM when we first wake up...
  • check the time (no clocks in the room, except your phone and the TV)
  • check the ships' position, weather
  • check the menu for dinner in the MDR
  • check our onboard account

There are about 3 childrens stations, cnbc & fox news, a couple of spanish stations, various movies shown over and over during your cruise, the interactive station for seapass and room service, a cbs station that shows clips (old ones) of morning show, fergerson late night show, honeymooners, ozzie & harriet etc. and then there is also Pay Per View with a variety of things to rent.
