Kikkycat Posted February 3, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2009 Just off AOS where we had cabin 7388 with a huge corner aft balcony. The balcony was one of the highlights of the cruise for us. We're looking at maybe our next cruise on Serenade. One of the dates we're considering has every aft D1 room on decks 7 and 8 open, but none on 9 (I read that 9256 is the best on the ship but is usually grabbed quite early). Of the D1's on decks 7 or 8 which would have the best balcony?
wrp96 Posted February 3, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2009 8168, right below 9256, would be my first choice.

cb at sea Posted January 10, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 10, 2010 On the Voyager class ships, the higher the aft cabin, the better. These ships aren't like the Radiance class ships, where the railing is overlooking the ocean wake....there is a stretch of hull to look past before you see the water. alcpa1 Posted January 10, 2010 #6 Share Posted January 10, 2010 Kikkycat, Ask your TA or booking agent to flag 9256. Twice it has been available later. Once was on the Radiance but we had already switched to a JS and the decision to keep the deck 10 cabin was agonizing. It is truly a great catch if you can get it.
