Diamond balcony discount?

These are the discounts

Platinum Balcony discount is,

$50 for 3-5 nights (not days)

$100 for 6-9 nights (not days)

$200 for 10 nights or above (not days)

Diamond and Diamond Plus Balcony discount is,

$100 for 3-5 nights (not days)

$200 for 6-9 nights (not days)

$300 for 10 nights or above (not days)

That is per cabin, not per person.

Our 10 day cruise balcony discount a couple of months ago was $300. We booked a JS but I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

Suites are the same as any other balcony unless things have changed at RCCL. I received the same for my two JS's.

C&A balcony discounts are based on the length of the cruise, not the category of cabin.

Diamond discounts:

3 to 5 nights = $100

6 to 9 nights = $200

10+ nights = $300

And before anyone else asks...

Platinum discounts:

3 to 5 nights = $50

6 to 9 nights = $100

10+ nights = $200

ETA: I see Alexis is a faster typer than me. :p ;)

I know that the length of the cruisetour is used to calculate cruise credits. Does the length of the cruise+land tour combine for balcony discounts?

Thanks

I don't think so. When we did a 12-night Alaska cruisetour back in 2005 we were lowly Gold members. We got 3 cruise credits (in a JS) but our deposit was only $250 p/p (same as for a 7 night cruise - a 12 night cruise would be $450 p/p) which leads me to believe the balcony discount is based on the actual number of nights of the cruise itself. But you should call and check for yourself. I'm just making assumptions based on my personal experience which is nearly 4 years old.

Also, FYI - your hotel room accommodations on the land tour portion are directly related to the type of cabin you book on the ship. The higher category cabin, the better your hotel room/location.
