Solstice - How is the Persian Garden?

DH and I were on the Summit last year and enjoyed the Persian Garden, specifically the steam rooms and sauna. We will be sailing on the Solstice next month and were wondering if the facilities are the same, and whether the Solstice also has the weekly pass available. Thanks in advance for your help.

This info is based on my 11-30-08 sailing on the Solstice, things may have changed.

Persian Gardens were only available to AquaClass cabins. No passes were sold.

The Persian Gardens were my least favorite ammenity of the AquaClass package: steam room did not actually steam (probably fixed by now), and the loungers were barely warm. We thought we would use it daily but only ended up going once for 10-15 minutes.

On the 01/04/2008 trip,

1. Passengers in Aqua Class and Suites had unrestricted access to the Persian Gardens.

2. Daily and weekly passes were sold to any other passenger.

3. The Persian Gardens on Solstice do not hold a candle to those on the M-Class ships and IMHO not worth the price if you are paying extra.

On our 1/25 cruise, passes were available to all but we decided not to get it--The free sauna was really nice--they have it hidden away but you can ask!

I am you preferred the M class PG--they are so interior (& dark) --seemed like on Solstice it was modeled more like the light & bright a thermal suite on Royal C's Radiance class ships

Also the therapy rooms on Solstice are downstairs & no windows---

Hey Guys,

I am new to this Cruise Critic thing. I just have few Q's.

It is my first Celebrity Cruise, Have been on a few RCCL. Now moving on up...

We are going on the Dec. 12th sail So. Carrib. on the Summit.

Does anyone know how much the PG is for the week?

Is the PG just RCCL Thermal Suite? I Loved the thermal Suite!

Many Thanks!

Nick
