Emerald Princess

We will be going on the Emerald Princess soon. I have two questions.

1. I just received cabin assignment. Emerald ff E424. It says it is an

obstructed view, which I am aware of. But, I was wondering if anyone

has been in this room and how obstructed is the view.

2. Also, last year we were on the crown and never went to the

wheelhouse bar. Someone was mentioning that you can order food

there. Just wondering if anyone knows what they serve. Thanks.

:)

The meal offered at the Wheelhouse is lunch and is served on Sea days only. It is: Fish and Chips, Shepherds Pie, and a couple of other entrees-my guess is that 90% of those coming ordered fish and chips. It was good-the bar is decorated as an English Pub and of course they feature Guinness Beer for purchase. You eat at the bar seats so the tables are low. It was a nice option for us!

The Wheelhouse Pub lunch was served from approx 11-2 on sea days. It made for a good lunch that was a little different. Don't be intimidated if there is a line, it moves very quickly as you are served your food within a couple minutes of being seated.

There is a lifeboat in front of your window. You'll probably be able to see beyond it to the water and sky. We had a similar cabin on the Star Princess. We were able to see the water and sky if we stood up but not when we were sitting down. But it was still great to have the natural light in the daytime. And whenever we saw something interesting, it was very convenient to go downstairs to the Promenade Deck.
