Topless deck on NCL?

All the Carnival ships have a 'topless' deck. I was wondering if the NCL ships do. In particular the Dream.

If I were on that cruise I would have said it's OK, but in reality, from other posts I recall, NCL doesn't have such a policy. Good Luck! I'm sure you'll be happy with the Margaritas.

Have not seen any topless decks on NCL... first Carnival cruise coming soon.... (location and price).... not sure wife would let me visit the topless deck though:D .

Thank you for the info, gentlemen. Now this leaves me hoping that my balcony has some sun on that Dec.12th sailing! I REFUSE to have tan lines on my upper half when I head home to Nebraska.

Joelle, you're right......it's OUR vacation! Would a little 'top half of swimsuit optional' area be so bad for people like us?? I would promise not to get up and run around the ship and offend people.

I'll just have to speak with Joelle about designating a 'topless deck.' Since this will be a 'new' thing for NCL, we sunbathers might NEED a watchman/guard. You know, to keep away those guys who wear the RayBan 'one way' sunglasses!

The very top deck of the Dawn, by the helicopter pad, would be a great place for a topless area. A "warning sign" could be posted at the bottom of the stairs leading to the deck saying: "warning: topless area - if you are offended by the sight of possible bare breasts, please proceed with caution" :D

Where are you, Joelle? People have been nice enough to find us our own deck for sunbathing! Granted, it's by the helicopter pad but that's OK by me. So now we have our own deck AND offers of a watchman. And some guy whose girlfriend will beat him senseless if he visits! Someone has even offered to make a 'warning' sign.

OK, I now know that the Dawn has a helicopter pad as a possible location for topless sunbathing. BUT....HELP....I will be on the Dream! Any possible locations there?

The very front of the bow is usually empty. If you could figure a way to get there you would certainly have the place by yourself. Only drawbacks would be the bridge staring down at you and the webcam.

When we were on the Carnival Miracle in October, there were always people on the topless deck and no one was ever gawking.

I agree, Madelinerose. It certainly should not be an issue, especially if a specific area is reserved for topless sunbathing. I not seen any topless female sunbathing on the Dawn, however ;)

My daughters and I snuck up to the topless deck on Carnival just to see what all the fuss was. There were no women, only a few forlorn men waiting for some excitement. The men weren't even topless.

People will continue to get worked up by this issue so long as they confuse "topless" with some sort of feral excitement - an attitude evident from some posts here. Grow up and get over it !
