Solstice hump cabins noisy?

Wondering if anyone noticed any noise from the hallways or adjoining cabins since these regular ( not angled) cabins are across from the elevators?

Is there any advantage in booking these cabins over the ones down the hall , just because they are on the hump? They are the same size cabin and balcony as the regular cabins, right?

Is it really worth it to pay more for the angled balconies?

Would really appreciate your experience if you have already travelled on this new ship. Thanks.

I was in one on the 7th floor (deck?) on the Feb. 1 cruise. We heard NO elevator noise, and it was nice to be near the elevators when we wanted to go someplace. The angled balconies are bigger, but don't have any more furniture, just the same two chairs and a small table.

If I were going to pay extra, it would be for aquaclass.....

We had a reg cabin but have a hump booked on our next Solstice cruise..

I can tell you that on deck 9 port side, the hump cabins are not near the elevators---they are sep by glass doors that lead to the card area (always busy! ) & the elev bank--so hallway & elev noise should not be a factor

not sure about balcony sizes & such--suggest you check the cabin listing sticky & see if your cabin is there...

ours is going to be an angled hump & we were told the balcony is bigger...we like the hump for the midships location but just ahead of the hump was prefectly fine for us & we probabaly would not invest in the hump again on Solstice.......
