Ohio-C-Luver Posted February 27, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2009 We will be cruising in April 2009. We would like to know about the entertainment on Jewel of the Seas? What are the best shows, best lounges, where to hang out in the evenings, and on sea days? This is our first time on the JOTS and we want to make the most of it!:D
cb at sea Posted February 27, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2009 It really depends on what you like! The entertainment's quality is dependant on the entertainers--and they do change. The guest performers change weekly, if not more often..the bands switch out... On sea days, I'm at the pool! We would hit the Champagne bar (they serve everything--not just champagne!) before dinner, and the Schooner bar after dinner. The band on our trip was horrendous, so we didn't frequent the dance club. (Frankly, all the bands on our Panama trip were horrible!) So it really is quite individual as to who and what you like! Thanks, guess we'll have to try out the different venues, and hope we hit some good night!
unberwoob Posted February 27, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 27, 2009 We enjoyed Caribbean Breeze, the Rosario Strings, the Stanley Tyranowski Trio. and the guitarist Jovenico Rosario before and after dinner, usually in the Centrum or Schooner Bar. The headliners in the theater change every cruise, but don't miss Tango Buenos Aires. Actually, we enjoyed all the nightly shows. The Jewel is a fabulous ship and this itinerary is oustanding! Remember to put an underscore between web and reservations.:)
