We were on the Fantasy in Dec and weather was not great either. Raining during sail away. The day in Cozumel was great but the 2 sea days were chilly and cloudy. We just put on jackets and still had a great time. The weather in the casino is always nice!:D You will still have a wonderful time. Enjoy your cruise and have fun.

Scala is on vacation, and will not return to Fantasy. Next ship for Captain PP is the Destiny in mid April.

Mr. Weatherman is imrproving every day!!!

Monday...New Orleans...Sunny. Highs in the upper 50s. Northwest winds 10 mph, lows in the mid 30's...

But...we are going to be going SOUTH...gotta get better

Tuesday...NOLA will be in the mid 60's...but on the Gulf should be warmer so lets hope for some 70's (I BELIVE)

Wednesday...Merida, City Mexico...Clear. High: 91 °F . Wind NE 11 mph . ---yes, Yes, YES!!!!! That what we are cruising for!!!

Thursday...Cozumel, Mexico...Chance of Rain. Scattered Clouds. High: 78 °F . Wind ESE 15 mph . Chance of precipitation 20% (trace amounts). Hey..20%--Thats not very much...this may turn out OK..

Friday...Cozumel, Mexico...we will be headed home...(SIGH),,,Scattered Clouds. High: 78 °F . Wind East 15 mph... Hey, that would be a nice day at sea also.

But...even if it rains every day...we are going to have a FANTASTIC DAY

Thank you so much for sharing that. Interesting, he is scicilian. My DS new DW and her Parents are Scicilian Italian. We are all traveling together. I hope they have a chance to talk with Capt S. The mother speaks very limited english and the father is not a whole lot better. Even though they have spent all their childrens lives in the States. But I digress, would be nice if they were able to converse with the Captain.

Captain Scala is very "out there" on the ship. He hosts a "cigars under the stars" night on the Lido, a question and answer session during the cruise, deals the finals on the Black Jack tourney, and is often seen strolling around the ship, or in off hours you may catch him having a cigar right outside the bridge on the deck (outside).

He's very personable and much a people person. If your people don't spend all of their time in their cabins, they will surely run into him onboard.
