CdnColleen Posted February 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2009 There is an active roll call for our cruise in May to the Mediterranean. Mostly couples, of course, but there are a few singles on the list - long time friends traveling together, mother/daughter combos, and at least one solo woman. To date, no single men have introduced themselves. The meet and greet for our roll call is sure to be a wonderful start to this terrific cruise! As mentioned elsewhere, if eligible men only realized how many financially secure, interesting and fabulous single women travel on these cruises, they'd be lining up.... Rare Host Kat Posted February 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2009 When you have a chance, please read the Sticky thread titled What is a ROLL CALL and how do I find mine? at http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=44773. Please note it states the following: "IF MY ROLL CALL IS SLOW, CAN I POST IT ON OTHER FORUMS? No. Please don't post threads looking for others cruising with you on any of our other forums. Roll Calls became so popular that there was a need to set up a separate area for them. We ask that you keep Roll Call type discussions to your Roll Call in the ROLL CALL forums and keep the other forums open for general cruise discussions according to forum topic." Posts such as yours should be an answer to an inquiry and not a new thread. While you are out and about on the various Cruise Critic forums, be sure to look for posts where another member has mentioned they are cruising on your cruise or have a countdown clock in their signature for your cruise. Post a reply to their post inviting them to join in the fun on your Roll Call thread. Be sure to include your Roll Call title and link. Personally, I have "roped in" some to my previous Roll Calls from the First Time Cruisers Forum and Ask a Cruise Question Forum. And of course, the forum for the cruise line. Most often, members new to cruising or Cruise Critic are not aware of our Roll Calls and how much fun they can be. Hope this information will be helpful!
