Is this a good deal?

This is my first cruise and was quoted as $522 per person(4) to stay in a penthouse suite on the fascination for a 5 day cruise. Is this a good deal??

I would say its a decent deal but.... especially being your first cruise a suite is really going to be over kill I think. You will hardly be in your cabin and unless you plan on entertaining in your cabin save some money and use it towards your drinks or excursions. IMHO

My impression is that a lot of people feel that $100/night is a good deal for a balcony so $105/night is a great deal for a suite...

Good deal just decide if you really need a suite. Most people use the room to shower and sleep. Unless you think you will be spending a bunch of time there it could be over kill. How much cheaper is a balcony?

Well the only balcony's on the fascination are suites. Since we have 4 people in our group if we book the cruise we will automatically get a penthouse suite. So yes, seeing as the only balcony's are suites and this would be a spring break trip we would probably be doing some entertaining.

We cant get a suite on ecstasy for less than $700 a night plus tax, so compared to other ships its cheap.
