When are you going? If before September, please keep the AC room safe for us.

Breakfast and lunch are in Il Adagio in place of Cagney's. You can dine there or in your cabin, although you won't have a proper dining table as you did on the Spirit. Lovely suites, we did one last summer to Alaska.

Thanks all, We have been on 4 other cruises , We have heard alot about the Alaska cruise . We lived in Anchorage 1964-67 So we always wanted to see the "big" city again. When we were there the population was 50,000 30,000 out of that was military. Airforce & Army.

We could go down to the boat dock a d buy King Crabs off the boats for $1.00 ea.

anyone have info & pics of rm 0065 on Sun? How about weather med aug. 17 mo to go.

We love the Sun and have had suite 0065 and will have 9076 for our South America cruise in Mar..2010. We loved the casino (almost won enough to pay for our cruise) The size makes it easy to meet alot of people---had a Halloween party with approx. 20 people--nice balcony. Our Butler was great set up hors d'oeuvrs and made sure we had extra glasses, plates, ect. and had the room steward bring in extra chairs.

Just remember the Butler will do anything pertaining to inside the suite--room service, snacks. DVD's---The concierge anything outside the suite. Reservations for dinner, spa appointments, VIP tender tickets ect.

Have a wonderful cruise---I hope you love the Sun like we do and the suite is sooo sweet!

Stateroom 0065 is HORRIBLE.. Stay away from it. It is infested with ticks and fleas and stinks badly. Toilet runs over all the time.. and the sewage backs up into the bathtub day and night. Have I said enough to keep you away from that suite? No? How about this.. PLEASE DON'T BOOK OUR SUITE.. lol.. that suite belongs to us and to us only.

In all honesty.. YOU WILL LOVE IT. The best suite we have had bar none.

Thanks all, I am sure we will have a good time. We had our first butler in Feb on the Spirit. upsail from BA to AB , that was our down fall. now I want my butler. Like I told my wife, "The last time I stayed at a Motel 6 was the first time I stayed at the Hilton".

The AC suite is the only cabin we will book anymore. As the Sun is one of the 'older' NCL ships the Sun AC suite is of NCL's best deals.

The Balcony is massive!!! I would recommend deck 9 as the deck 10 suites can be noisy in the mornings while the cleaning crew pushes the deck chairs around in the Outdoor Café. We also had napkins, and food dropped onto the balcony from above.

We sail with with a family of four, and bring along a blow up bed for my 10 year old son, so he does not have to share the fold out couch with his 13 yo sis, as the couch does not split into two separate beds.

The steward had no problem making the extra bed up each night.

Have fun...we'll be in 9276 June 2010. Sailing in the AC means we cruise every other year, when a smaller cabin would mean sailing every year. It's worth that much to us.

Really dumb question, but ... do we handle the fold-out couch, or does the butler and/or housekeeping unfold it in the evenings and turn it back into a sofa in the morning? Sorry, I'm relatively new to cruising. :o

Looking at the photos in the post above, I am surprised how small the bathroom sink area is. Is there another dressing room? What is the counter I see in the photo with the bathrobes?[/QUOT

That picture is deceiving--the sink area is large with good counter space and storage--there is room with a ladies vanity table, large mirror and stool ckose

to the sink area.

We have stayed in a Sen AC suite twice 0065 once--

Thank you for the info! We've booked 9076 for the June 28 2010 Baltic Seas sailing. My husband, then 16-year-old, and myself. :) It helps to know that we don't have to handle the sofa bed. Not that it would kill us, but hey, I'm on vacation!

Just switched to this year's August 14th sailing. Decided to go a different route-->a mini suite for my husband and me, and an adjacent inside room for my teen. I think we'll all be happy that way.

We were in AC 0265 Panama Canal cruise, the full length spa bath was the highlight for me.
