Selecting a Ship

Are there any older ships on Celebrity that I should stay away from? Do you have favorite ships that you prefer over the others? Trying to pick a Baltic Cruise for summer 2010 and I am only seeing Constellation and the Century. Oops, also see the Eclipse which I think is a new ship. Are these 2 ships as nice as the others?

In my opinion, Celebrity doesn't have a ship that isn't at least two steps up from "nice". We have traveled on all three classes of ship that you mentioned and liked them all, especially the Solstice which is a sister to the Eclipse.

Here are links to our photos from the various ships:

On the Mercury (Century):

Summit and infinity (Constellation):

Solstice (Eclipse):

Can't go wrong in our opinion.

Have been on Century twice and Constellation three times; the first time on Constellation was our Baltic Cruise. Had previously been on her sisters Millennium and Summit. Constellation is our favourite ship. But on either Century of Constellation you won't go wrong. Don't want to try Solstice (Equinox) as I don't like what I have seen in photos or read in some of the reviews; however, you should check Solstice out for yourself.

I love Century, but for Baltics I'd pick larger ship. We've noticed, that after long daytrips pool helps us to relax. Weather in Northern Europe is on the colder side and Century doesn't have solarium pool.
