Family in Barbados?

Quite likely we know them(small island)!

You had 1035 - way up high and rather far forward.

How was the motion?? Rocky-rolly?

I ask because we're in 6207 which may not be a high as Deck 10

but it's right up forward, on the bow almost!

Only thing I'm wondering about is my stomach

and how much Ginger Ale I should take with me! :D

Yup, family in Barbados! Quite likely you do know them or at least know of them as they are both Dr's. :) Tons of cousins as well. Several of my In laws are from Tinidad/Tobago/ Barbados/ Grenada. I LOVE the Caribbean. As hubby says " I won't be happy until we are living there". :D

I loved being up high and forward on deck 10. We barely felt any movement whatsoever. I take Ginger pills every day while cruising just in case I get sick but have yet to have any issues. Lucky me I guess! :o

Where are you leaving out of? I'm just trying to figure out how many ships are embarking and disembarking in San Juan on April 26th and May 3rd.

Thanks!

Hey aplmac- What is the best beach in Barbados?
Now there's a tough one.

BBay-45.jpg

Bottom Bay? naaww...too far out

and simply too turquoise without sunglasses

Crane? maybe.

Miami-13.jpg

Miami Beach near Oistins is very nice, as is the old favorite Accra/Rockley.

Carlisle Bay is quite close to the ship, all 2 miles of it

- that'll do nicely, as Barbados beaches go.

None of those are on the West Coast however.

You might like Paynes Bay, or Sandy Lane(if you walk North a bit)

- or Holetown(watersports!)

Mullins-28.jpg

...or further North to Mullins?

There is no Best Beach in Barbados.

There are at least 4 or 5 entries that 'draw' for that title!

After you spend a week here, you can decide for yourself

You just can't do it in a few short hours ashore.

As long as I've been here

I'm still torn between Crane, Accra and Sandy Lane
