How does the tipping work for open seating

Tips are added at the rate of $10 per day per passanger to your sail and sign card. That takes care of all staff. No need to tip more if you do not want to. If you want to slip a couple extra bucks in your pocket for dtaff you think deserve it that is up to you.....

Just how does the tipping work for open seating at dinner? In the past for traditional seating we tipped at the end of the cruise. do you tip every night if you have different waiters?

When you show up to open seating they ask your room number. The auto tips are then divided based on who your servers were for each evening.

I think they ask to see your S&S card for your cabin number to make sure you are supposed to be at open seating dining. Not to do the automatic tipping. Those tips are pooled.....;)

Tips from the auto gratuities for the dining room staff are always given to your assigned server team. This is true when you have open seating. Instead of a single team being given your entire weekly amount, it is given to each team based on how many days they serve you. If you think a team has done a great job, you can always leave them extra daily, or at the end of the week, find them in the dining room and give them the extra then. (The open seating area is not spread out and it is easy to find the wait staff.)

None of these tips are pooled, they are given to the staff that waits on you each night, just as if you had assigned seating. (You are required to provide a S&S card each night when being seated so that gratuites are properly assigned.)
