Delta Change Schedule Again and Again

HKG

Recommended Posts

Then you are really lucky. I've had seat assignments change, flight schedules change, equipment changes, etc on multiple airlines over the years. I've even had seat assignments change after I've checked in for a flight due to a last minute equipment change. So I've learned to constantly watch my reservations.

Just another aspect of travel that we are now forced to accept. Maybe this is why many people do not enjoy travel anymore. It used to be fun! Now it is a complicated chore....other than for short hops with no connecting flights!

Thanks for all your help on the last question, but I have one more.

I found the flight I was looking for but I see it has a layover in Atlanta of 39 minutes. I know under 30 minutes is consider an illegal flight so what is everybodies thought of a 39 min layover. Does this sound like this can be done in such a busy airport like atlanta. I guess delta thinks it does.

Here is the flight info:

7:00am

RIC 11:28am

MIA 1-stop

Atlanta

(39 min layover) 4 hr 28 min Delta 1679

Boeing 757

Take the 39 minutes only if you want to:

a) Enjoy the challenge of running through corridors filled with slow-moving people blocking your way, and

b) Seeing what DL's procedures are for rebooking you on another flight after you miss your scheduled one.

Not even sure what the minimum connect time is for ATL anymore.
