vie lee Posted April 15, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2009 In the process of booking Thanksgiving cruise on Radiance. I have a choice between Deck 7 E-3 on Hump or Deck 8 D-1 Aft. We plan on spending lots of time on balcony and someone posted that humps had large ones but it doesn't look like it from ships layout. Any input will be appreciated. JJ2sail Posted April 15, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2009 The larger balconies on the hump are the E1's on either side of the elevators on the port side of the ship. An E3 on the hump will not have a bigger balcony, but is centrally located and has a nice view. A D1 on the aft, will have a bigger balcony and a great aft view, but is a loooooong walk to the centrum elevators. No aft elevators on Radiance. JJ2sail Posted April 15, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 15, 2009 If you want a larger balcony and close to elevators, and don't want to pay for a D1, look for an E1 in the forward part of the ship on deck 7 or the E1's on either side of the centrum elevators. cb at sea Posted April 15, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 15, 2009 A D catagory will give you more room in the cabin! The aft cabins have more space on the balcony. I'd go with a D aft, if I couldn't find a D hump!
