MandyGirl Posted December 4, 2004 #2 Share Posted December 4, 2004 We leave a copy with my parents and always carry a folder with photocopies of confirmations, ID, etc. This is a thin cheapie folder with brads that my students use at school. Also, any copies of any prescription drugs, insurance, or medical history that could be of importance (blood type, allergies, medical conditions) could be beneficial should the unexpected need arise. Then our folder is practically ready for our next trip since we have the basics already in the brads - just switch out the photocopies that are no longer relevant to the new vacation. :)
Esme Posted December 4, 2004 #3 Share Posted December 4, 2004 Matt - We carry the photocopy of the front page (one with photo) of our passports with us when we leave the ship in ports and leave the passports in the safe. This way if anything happens to either of us, we always have the documentation with us. Also I photocopy any credit cards, bank cards and Cdn "Old Age" cards we have with us and leave the copy in the safe with our documents and airline tickets (e-ticket). Happy Sailing. :)

Cruiseoften Posted December 5, 2004 #6 Share Posted December 5, 2004 Same as Esme - required original documents, passport, airline tickets etc. are in the cabin safe (photocopies are left at home) photo copy of credit cards is also left in the safe (and at home) in case we take it ashore. T- check numbers are left at home and in the cabin safe and in a diary - we tick them off as we cash them.! In this day and age, seems one has to be almost paranoid about security - SAD - SAD - SAD
Krazy Kruizers Posted December 5, 2004 #7 Share Posted December 5, 2004 Besides making and carrying extra copies of everything, if you will be traveling to Europe, etc., it is also a good idea to take along an extra set of passport pictures.
